• Software Capture Guard will monitor capture card and reinitialize if card freezes. Sometimes a capture card can simply stop sending video if overloaded. Visec will automatically watch for no video and restart the capture card internally so you don't have too.
  
• WATCH DOG HARDWARE- This card supports a GPIO cable that connects from the capture card to your computer's motherboard power switch. If the computer freezes for any reason  the capture card will reboot the PC.
  
• The watch dog works by  sending small commands (such those similar  to a keyboard or mouse commands)  to the computer and then establishes a response time. if the computer does not send a response back in a normal time the watch dog  assumes the computer is frozen and will do a reboot. This is handy feature allowing the system to run continuously.
