How does the Visec Security Software Affiliate Program work?
You already receive traffic to your site. With Visec Security Software, you can channel that traffic and turn into additional income. It’s very simple: when one of your site visitors clicks on the link that you have posted, they’ll be sent to the Visec Security Software site. If the visitor purchases our products, you will earn a % of the sale.

Do I have to provide product support?
No. You will not have to provide product support to customers who purchase any Visec Security Software products. We have top-notch customer care professionals to take care of customer support. Once a sale is made, we take care of customers.

How am I guaranteed payment for sales from my site?
You are assigned a unique Agent Link Code. Orders from your personal
web page use the special format that includes this code. Every time
a customer follows the link from your page to the Visec Security Software
product page, this unique code tells us that your affiliate account
generated the purchase and you will be credited for that sale.

What’s
my linking code?
Link the graphics or textlinks with this code:
http://www.visec.net/index.php?agentid=XXXXXXXXX&refid=XXXXXXXXX
Copy and paste it into your hyperlink.
IMPORTANT: You MUST change the XXXXXX in the code to
the Cognigen Agent ID that you created. This ID gives you credit for
each sale.

How should I design my website?
Every Agent site is unique, and we don't provide a standard template
for you to begin with. In most cases, Agents will have a pre-existing
website in place when they join the program. You will be most successful
if you make your recommendations or links to Visec Security Software
look and feel like the rest of your site. Of course, if you don't
yet have a website, your options are endless. We simply encourage
you to give the site its own unique personality and keep your target
audience in mind while you create.

What forms of advertising can I use to promote Visec Security Software?
Agents are welcome to promote their own websites, but naturally, any
promotion that mentions Visec Security Software products could be
perceived by the public or the press as a joint effort. Therefore,
any use of our name in such promotions must be pre-approved by Visec
Security Software. This includes advertisements, press releases and
mailings.

What kinds of advertising are prohibited by Visec Security Software?
Certain forms of indiscriminate advertising, commonly referred to as "spamming", are unacceptable as they could cause damage to our brand name. Other Prohibited forms of advertising include the use of unsolicited commercial email (UCE), postings to non- commercial newsgroups and cross-posting to multiple newsgroups at once. In addition, Affiliates may not advertise in any way that effectively conceals or misrepresents their identity, their domain name or their return email address. Mailings are acceptable only if the recipient is already a customer or subscriber to the Affiliate's services. In addition, recipients must have the option of removing themselves from future mailings. Newsgroup postings are acceptable only in newsgroups that specifically welcome commercial messages. When in doubt, consult the newsgroup FAQ section or ask the moderators to be sure your message is acceptable in that newsgroup. Affiliates must also clearly represent themselves and their websites as independent entities from Visec Security Software.
In any forum or media, Agents are expected to honor the advertising
practices and restrictions that are commonly considered acceptable
by its audience. Failure to honor this code of conduct can result
in immediate termination of an Affiliate's account, and loss of all
commissions earned.
